Since I want to get back to teaching PiYo soon, I did a different workout each day from my instructor DVDs. The entire workout is included on the DVD, so it’s a complete workout. If you’ve ever done the home DVD program, PiYo Live is basically PiYo Drench on crack, lol! This week I felt much better than I have over the last few weeks, so it was much easier to get through the workouts.
Here are my workouts for the week:
- Monday: PiYo Live round 37 – 50 minutes
- Tuesday: PiYo Live round 39 – 50 minutes
- Wednesday: PiYo Live round 40 – 50 minutes
- Thursday: PiYo Live round 41 – 50 minutes
- Friday: PiYo Live round 42 – 50 minutes
- Saturday: Body Beast Total Body & Beast Abs –38 minutes & 10 minutes
- Sunday: No workout
Last week I mentioned that I was awaiting word on whether or not I was in the cast of The Little Mermaid at a community theatre in Nashville. I was not cast, which is bitter sweet. While I really wanted to be Ursula the sea witch since that is one of my dream characters to play, I was also a bit relieved because now I plan to audition at a different theatre where my friends from the community theatre where I normally perform will be auditioning. The play I’ll be auditioning for is Young Frankenstein. After watching it, I have a character in mind that I’d like to play, but I’m not sure what to expect. I’ve never auditioned for this particular group before, so I have no idea what level of talent I’m up against. Of course, all I can do is prepare and do the best that I can and not worry about everyone else. Since the character I see myself as isn’t one of my dream roles, I won’t feel devastated if I don’t get it.
Of course I’m still trying to find a job as a trainer and PiYo instructor in addition to pursuing acting. Fitness is something I’m passionate about, and it will allow me to have a flexible schedule to pursue any acting opportunities that may present themselves. I must say, though, with all these different things going I’m pursuing, I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed! However, being overwhelmed with things I enjoy makes it bearable!
Happy Monday, and I hope you have a great week! As always, thanks for reading!
