Exercise Accountability for Week Ending 4.24.16

For the last few weeks I’ve been doing a different PiYo workout each day from my instructor DVDs.  This is keeping me fit and helping me get ready to get back to teaching soon.  If you’ve ever done the PiYo home DVD program, PiYo Live is basically PiYo Drench on crack, lol!  Now that I’m over the seasonal allergy hump, it’s much easier to get through the workouts.  Because I really enjoy the benefits of lifting weights, I do a total body weight routine on Saturdays.  I’m also really trying to keep my arms in shape since that’s my problem area, so I’m doing Body Beast Bulk Arms at least once per week.  I’m thinking about adding it in once more during the week.  Of course, I need to be sure to leave enough time for my muscles to recover in between days, but I can do that.  Now I just need to figure out how to fit something else into my schedule.

Here are my workouts for the week:

  • Monday: PiYo Live round 37 – 50 minutes
  • Tuesday: PiYo Live round 39 – 50 minutes
  • Wednesday: PiYo Live round 40 – 50 minutes
  • Thursday: PiYo Live round 41 & Body Beast Bulk Arms – 50 minutes & 35 minutes
  • Friday: PiYo Live round 42 – 50 minutes
  • Saturday: Body Beast Lucky 7 & Beast Abs – 24 minutes & 10 minutes
  • Sunday:  Kundalini Yoga – Happy Hormones DVD workout by Anna Brett & Ravi Singh (available in my Amazon store here:  http://astore.amazon.com/mycrnoli-20

Wednesday I got out of the house and went to a military spouse’s club luncheon.  It was really nice to get out and socialize.  With my husband gone and me trying to get so many things done, I haven’t been out much over the last few weeks.  In fact, I think the last time I went out with other people was when my friends and I went to see Chicago the musical the second weekend of the month.  That’s been awhile!  Anyway, it was really nice to get out and get my mind off of being busy.  I think that gave me some clarity.

Lately I have been feeling extremely overwhelmed with all the different things that I’m hoping to accomplish and wasn’t really doing any of them well.   This past week I’ve done quite a bit of soul searching trying to determine what I need to pursue and what needs to go.  While I don’t have it all figured out, I have decided to implement a few changes.  More on that later, I promise!  In the meantime, stay tuned!
