This was week 6 of my second round of Body Beast. Between a weird schedule and not feeling well, I started the week behind on two workouts. This week went much better! Even though I was still having some sinus issues, I felt fine so I was able to get all caught up on my workouts. Wednesday ended up being my rest day this week since I drove to Nashville and was there for most of the day. At the beginning of the week I scaled back on how much weight I was lifting in order to reduce the amount of stress I was putting on my body. I always have to remind myself of that delicate balance between exercising enough to keep my Hashimoto’s in check and exercising to the point of pushing my immune system into a tailspin. It seems like I managed to do it, because I definitely feel much better (I’m sure the fact that I ate chicken soup all week also contributed, too)!
This coming week I will be working on the show Nashville as an extra again, and as an extra in a movie project that’s also filming in Nashville, so I will have to plan my workouts around that. There is a possibility that we will have an additional rehearsal this weekend since our choreographer will be in town this weekend.
Here are my workouts for the week:
- Monday: Body Beast Bulk Back and Shoulders – 29 minutes & 35 minutes
- Tuesday: Body Beast Bulk Chest – 30 minutes
- Wednesday: No workout today – long day on set
- Thursday: Body Beast Bulk Legs and Arms – 41 minutes & 35 minutes
- Friday: Body Beast Bulk Back – 29 minutes
- Saturday: Beast Cardio & Abs – 30 minutes & 10 minutes
- Sunday: Body Beast Bulk Shoulders – 35 minutes
Hopefully I can stay on top of my workouts this week because I could use a rest day! I’d love to squeeze in some light yoga, preferably on Sunday which is supposed to be my rest day anyway. Fingers crossed for a leisurely day of rest! I’m going to need it because things are about to get crazy with Spamalot!
