Exercise Accountability for Week Ending 12.20­­­­­­.15

Since I’m not doing a specific workout program right now, I’m trying to incorporate a variety of workouts. My goal is to try as many Beachbody workouts as possible so that I can better help my customers choose a program that is right for them. There are so many available on Beachbody on Demand that I won’t be able to do them all by the end of the year, so I’m sticking with some of the newer and more popular workouts.

I’m also trying to be a bit more flexible. What I mean by that is that if I have a day where I miss a workout for whatever reason I’m not putting as much pressure on myself to make it up. This is a tough one because I don’t want to backslide and lose results from my other workouts. However, because I’m working diligently on my personal training certification and finishing up some other personal projects before the end of the year I don’t want to over stress myself. Some of these projects include re-assessing our budget, cleaning and organizing my email, re-organizing our personal filing system, going through my clothing and getting rid of outdated or ill-fitting items, and cleaning our garage. And somehow still fit in some fun!?

My husband is on leave and we want to go do a few fun things when my stepson Cody is here for his holiday visit, so I really need to be as flexible as possible during this time. We’re planning a camping trip so I may miss workouts on those days (though we’ll either go hiking or biking or maybe even both). I missed two workouts this past week and I’m hoping to make them up this week, but we’ll see how things go. If I’m to stay flexible, I’ll have to make the decision based on how much progress I’ve made towards my personal training certification and the other household projects I want to complete before the end of the year.

That said, here are my workouts for the week:

  • Monday: No workout today due to some pretty severe menstrual cramps
  • Tuesday: Brazil Butt Lift Master Series Higher and Tighter – 30 minutes
  • Wednesday: 21 Day Fix Cardio – 30 minutes
  • Thursday: No workout today due to an unplanned shopping trip that took the rest of the day and I planned to workout in the evening
  • Friday: PiYo Live Class Round 40 DVD – 60 minutes (I did the workout from my instructor DVD)
  • Saturday: Body Beast Lucky 7 – 24 minutes, Body Beast Abs – 10 minutes
  • Sunday: Yoga for Strength and Flexibility from This is Yoga with Tara Stiles – 20 minutes (available in the fitness section of my Amazon store: http://astore.amazon.com/mycrnoli-20)

Auditions for Spamalot with our local community theatre were last week, and callbacks were Tuesday. I’m so excited to announce that I will be in this production as part of the ensemble. I’m looking forward to starting rehearsals in January. Another great thing happened this past week: I sold my first copy of the ebook! Hopefully that will continue to sell so that I can help more people (and cover the costs of this blog). I’ve finished reading my personal training textbook, and now I need to study a bit more. I plan to take the certification before this month is over!
